Hello from Mid-Michigan!
Hello All,
I’ve been lurking around the site for a while, reading up on what others are doing with their rides, but this is my first post.
I bought my 78 Magnum XE in 1997, drove it some that summer, and then parked it in order to do some minor repairs. Small repairs lead to bigger ones, and that lead to a big dream of a major restomod. The car is a “P”-code 400, with many options including the T-bar roof, the trailer towing package, a/c, tilt wheel, cruise, rear window defogger, trunk release, and a few more. I started disassembling the car that fall and winter, and then got sidetracked with work and life.
Now, 20 years later, I’ve decided it’s time to finish the job as best I can with my limited resources and get the old girl back on the road. I’ve been working on it for the last few months, getting parts cleaned up and finding problems along the way.
So, I’ll be checking in every so often to get advice and information and guidance. I look forward to getting acquainted with you all.

RE: Hello from Mid-Michigan!
I have a few pictures from when we first bought it the car on the Photobucket account that I just opened, but I’m having trouble getting the link to copy. I’ll keep trying.

RE: Hello from Mid-Michigan!
Thanks. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like that now. But, with time and effort, maybe it will again.
