Mustang News
Well as of today the BFNY Mustang Dyno won't be quite as stingy as it was. After multiple calls to Mustang tech support about the low numbers and speaking to numerous other shops I found the cause of the low numbers. The person that installed the dyno never tightened the wires for the barometric sensor. The left the voltage pegged resulting in a constant reading of 34.999 inHG . So the correction always went the wrong way. In a test with a known vehicle today we were able to match another mustang we have used in the past with the same vehicle. Needless to say we are excited to be able to finally have a dyno day. We'll post dates soon.

Awesome! Though it was good marketing to say you had 300whp cars in the 9's. LMAO

RE: Mustang News
Its still a Mustang.....not giving glory numbers no matter what. But to actually see the correction factor go the right way is a big deal.

RE: Mustang News
It is just a tool Lisa. But being able to pay for the tool becomes difficult when you are limited to in house tuning because low numbers won't go very far with outside clientele.

RE: Mustang News
it is nice to have one showing reasonable numbers, it's hard to sell your Dyno is stingy to guys who don't track their cars to see results.

I keep forgetting that not everyone 1) hangs out on a forum and/or 2) tracks their car as Phil mentions. I see how the numbers still matter to them because it is their only reference point.

See you just need to help Eric in sales with that kind of logic. Wink
