Well the WW1 German Helmet from Amsterdam arrived today. Took 2 weeks to get here, it's in relic condition but some of the camo is still on it.

I guess I will start again.
Went to a military show today, picked up a 69 caliber 1837 US musket made by pomeroy.
This could have seen the Mexican war and civil war.
Started life as a flintlock and converted to percussion using a Virginia conversion. Being as it is cut down and Virginia converted, it was most likely a confederate arm. But there is no way to document that.
