I am a believer in the Whipple now. It took everything I could throw at my stock 6.1 with the KB to get in the mid 11's and you did it first time at 8psi. Awesome job!

Maggie can do it too Laugh

RE: 11 second club
We were running pretty solid mid 11's on the Edelbrock/Stroker setup. Lisa's PB was an 11.2 and I was at 11.4, but with the latest tune and 3.55 we were a full 10MPH and second off for most of Sat. Of course I can't speak for anything as I completely forgot what I was doing! It was pretty embarrassing rolling right past the lights. I've only ever made about a dozen passes over the last 5 years so some practice would be good.

RE: 11 second club
didn't you say you had a street tune in it chuck? The gear ratio would not effect the MPH much at all.

RE: 11 second club
I wouldn't think so, and yes we had the street tune in all morning. Put in the race tune in the afternoon, but ran the same. Also ran lower MPH than we had before even without the race tune. We never ran a hot tune until October at the mile. Just added 2 degrees of timing.

It was mostly just us not getting it done. I've got to get Lisa to speed shift it and me, I just need to drive the car more than three times a year!

Of course the clutch being completely shot may have had something to do with it as well. I can barely get the car to move. Explains the tires not spinning in the box. But Lisa's last two were OK. Just really kinda a strange day overall.
